Designed to provide a simple and effective means of connecting rectangular duct sections together. J Flange is a hollow roll-formed section of galvanized steel, containing an integral sealant with excellent adhesion to metal. The Nexus J Flange adds substantial rigidity to transverse joints making this system ideal for high pressure duct systems. Raised Seam Sealant Pocket holds more sealant and allows the duct edge to extend beyond the corner providing a superior seal.

Product Details

Engineered for strength and rigidity, our J Flange delivers outstanding performance due to their solid construction and unique features which minimize air leakage when installed on all rectangular duct from 14 GA to 26 GA. Contains a raised offset sealant pocket seam, which allows more duct edge to come past the corner and lessening chances of leakage. Uses an integrated Hardcast synthetic resin sealant, providing excellent adhesion to metal (non-flow to 180º F) while retaining its sealing properties indefinitely. Made from hollow-rolled G90 galvanized steel which matches coil stock fabricators use in making ductwork (whereas others use G60).
